Q: What is the Funky Finds Spring Fling?

A: The Spring Fling is an indie art & craft fair to be held on March 13, 2010, in Fort Worth, Texas. The mission of the event is to create a marketplace where a diverse group of local artists and designers have the opportunity to showcase and sell their wares to a large local audience.


Q: What kind of crafts will be there?

A: The Funky Finds Spring Fling will showcase the coolest handmade items, including clothing, jewelry, art, plush items, accessories, paper goods, home goods, etc. Our goal is to put together a vendor list that provides shoppers with a wide variety of handmade items.


Q: When and where will the event be held?

A: The Funky Finds Spring Fling will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010, in Fort Worth, Texas in the Small Exhibits Building, also known as the Poultry Barn, at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. The event will begin at 9am and end at 3pm (event may end later if crowd is still going strong at this time). The physical address of the building is 3409 Burnett-Tandy Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76107.

Q: Is there a fee to attend the event or park at the event?

A: Admission and parking are FREE, so bring all your friends & family!


Q: How can I spread the word about the event?

A: PDFs of flyers & postcards are available here. Please feel free to distribute these items.

Q: Will an internet connection be available at the venue?

A: Technically the answer is yes. However, last year we were unable to maintain a strong signal. Please make other arrangements in case Wi-Fi is not working.


Q: What if something happens and I cannot make it? Will I get my money back?

A: We realize unforeseen things happen; however, once the booth fee is paid we are unable to refund due to expenses incurred while planning the event.


Q: How can I spread the word about the event?

Q: Why do I have to donate an item for the raffle?

A: We feel it is important to give back to the local community & to support charitable organizations. We received a strong response to the charitable raffle at the first Funky Finds Spring Fling & want it to be even more successful this year.


Q: Will I get time to set up & break down my booth?

A: Participating vendors will be able to set up on Friday, March 12, between noon & 9pm. If you are unable to set up the day before the event, vendors may arrive early & set up between 7 and 9am Saturday, March 13. Break down will begin at 3pm on Saturday – NOT BEFORE!
